Divisions hurt . . .
I’ve seen whole families torn apart
by deep incisions on the heart,
that left the scars that over years
caused broken lives and bitter tears.
Divisions hurt . . .
I saw into the Father’s heart
bruised by Christ’s body torn apart,
two thousand years of war it fought
against its own, upon itself
ignoring Father’s Royal Command
to love, in unity to stand
against the enemy of man.
Divisions hurt . . .
For by her door are scattered bones
of those who lived and died alone
because the ones sent forth to heal
were fighting on some battlefield.
But God will have the final say.
He’s moving, shaking things today
and every manmade wall will fall
so Jesus can be lifted up,
The Lord of Lords and King of all.
