Confined within
my tightly-wrapped cocoon,
all folded up,
potential butterfly,
I muse about
the awkwardness of things,
some nudging thought
keeps whispering
of wings . . .

I search for meaning
as I struggle free
to look on worlds
too wonderful for me.
I try my wings
in fervent ecstasy
to keep a meeting
with the Deity . . .
